Here's your chance to have some network programming fun @ZimNOG with Charles Eckel 

Charles is a developer evangelist at Cisco DevNet with a passion for open source software & open standards. 
Most of us will remember Charles from the numerous IETF/AIS hackathons .ZimNOG is proud to virtually have him back in Africa & in a NOG community as he presents Network Programming Made Easy

Charles's journey with open source began in 1999 as a founding member of Vovida Networks where he developed some of the industry's first open source Voice over IP (VoIP) protocol stacks & applications. At Cisco and beyond, Charles is a recognized champion of open standards, open source, and interoperability. He runs the Open Source Dev Center including OpenStack, OpenDaylight, and OPNFV. He introduced open source hackathons into IETF and MEF. Charles speaks regularly at CiscoLive and has also been a speaker at previous OpenStack, RedHat, LinuxCon, AfNOG , MPLS SDN NFV World Congress and various other event around the world.He enjoys contributing to the enhancement and growth of internet communities and is celebrated for his work ethic,commitment and continued support in the industry.
