The background image on the one with sponsors is too dark now. The one without the sponsors has dark marks on the connected logo that don’t look good. Please let’s rather go with the previous version.

Thanks, I have forwarded the ICANN designs to Yazid and Levy for their feedback.
For the SAFNOG Banners, we expected a design that will be in line with the main banner on the website – please can we do that? The current deign is okay for the t-shirts but we would prefer to have some uniformity in the marketing collateral, in this case the main image being what we have on the website.

Thanks. We do need banners for the event. I do not have a designs yet- we will be happy to get assistance with designs from you if you have ideas- we need one design with all sponsors and one with just the event details (name, date, location).
All other sponsors who have the benefit of distributing marketing material as part of their sponsorship are welcome to organise their own, same as Paratus because the t-shirts are conference t-shirts which is what Paratus is sponsoring.

Afternoon,
A brief update following our (Linda & myself) meeting.
* Venue
* The Taj Pamodzi has confirmed that the venue is available for the 3rd October. We are confirming the Exhibitor booth requirements and plan to visit the hotel tomorrow after which a quote will be provided.
* We have requested whether we can host the ICANN training for a max of 50 people on the 4th. Awaiting confirmation. We do however have a plan B in that should this not be available, Paratus has a facility at their Data Centre (approx. 1.5km from The Taj) which can handle 35 people comfortably. We are also following up on a Plan C which is the Southern Sun Ridgeway (approx. 300m from the Taj). We think we can get the ICANN training sorted.
* Sponsorship
* Linda will chat to Portia to understand the status of sponsors, sponsorship and where the funds are allocated. Need to finalise a budget, understand where we are short and respond.
* We are looking for a sponsor specifically for the Drinks and Snacks for the end of the day. We need an update from the hotel re approximate costs so we can finalise a budget and then go to the market to request.
* Agenda
* We have sent though our proposal for Opening and Keynote. Due to the event only being 1 day, we need it to run smoothly so propose the Chairman of the Hosts NSPAZ open the event, we ask the Regulator to do a Keynote, which we can fit in as and when it suits and then will ask the Minister / Ministry of they would like to say anything at the end of the day / during the drinks and networking event.
* Attracting attendees
* Attendance is free and we will go back to our Association members and get them to drive attendance again.
* NSPAZ is establishing their social media channels (Instagram & Facebook) and will start to send this out. We will need some budget to “boost” the event so I will fund raise within the association.
* We would like to use the agenda as part of the marketing plan. Can we use a hot topic or “celebrity” speaker to attract attendees.
* Paratus has a weekly timeslot on a radio station where we promote our company, products and events. We will allocate one of these to SAFNOG (mid-September?). I will go into our Association and see whether any other member can or will do similar.
* I will also ask association members for any “incentives” they would be willing to offer to get their customers to attend.
