i don’t see a problem with using this if it can be setup by someone
who knows more than i do about it.

one of my ex-students (who is a student) reached out to me about this
and asked if i could help her with this. $50 is more than she could
afford. i told her to register and that i’d pay for her “at the
door”. so, i think that the money payment is definitely keeping folks
away, but, i’d really prefer not to remove that, since it does help
keep our numbers manageable (this from a “free” afpif last week,
where we had 700 registrants *confirm* attendance, and then 413 arrive)
i think worthy questions are:
# is $50 too high for the local (non-student) attendees? noah, or
someone else from the area?
# are we reaching out to local industry sufficiently, to help with
registrants?
i admit i’ve been slacking; i’ll be busier now that afpif is almost
over.
