Hi Mark and everyone.
From an infrastructure point of view, the Hyatt, is very easy for me to set up as I have dealt with them before, and their building does not offer me challenges. The Serena is getting a bit long in the tooth and grey.

As discussed with all of you, we have an in-principle agreement to co-locate the SAFNOG-2018 and EANOG-2018 meetings together, in Dar Es Salaam. EANOG is being represented by Ernest, John and Michelle, as listed above.
A number of matters that require our immediate attention:
* A localhost. We have unconfirmed indication from Workonline that they will host us in DAR, so just need to confirm that. However, any other suggestions are welcome.
* We need to confirm the venue. The Hyatt has always been a decent choice, but the Serena can be used as well. Other options are welcome, of course, e.g., by the coast in Silversands, e.t.c.
* The dates. I'd initially thought about between the 23rd - 26th (any 3 days), but we also need to consider that AIS is starting their workshops on the 29th. The good thing about this week is that we'll have a number of northern hemisphere and other industry types in Tanzania to attend a wedding of one of our colleagues, Michele McCann, of Teraco. However, we need to weigh all considerations around this, and not just this very circumstance.
Ernest/John/Michelle, please let us know your thoughts, particularly around:
* Host.
* Venue.
* Your numbers/delegates.
* The dates.
* Sponsors.
* Agenda requirements.
* e.t.c.
Once we have basic idea, I'll setup a Skype call for the 28th November, 2017.
